What is the Protec WorkSafe WorkSmart Badging Program?
It is a program developed and managed by Protec Administrative Services, LLC. Protec Administrative Services is a channel partner of Field Nation and specializes in custom program creation and program management. The WorkSafe WorkSmart badging program is managed by Protec and administered on the Field Nation platform. This program allows Elite Providers on the Field Nation platform to earn a Protec “WorkSafe WorkSmart” Badge. This badge distinguishes elite Protec Providers on the platform. Protec providers have demonstrated their commitment to working safely in the work place and following smart work practices.
Advantages to selecting a Protec Badged provider:
- You know you are selecting a provider who is committed to, and trained on providing safe and smart work practices at your client’s sites.
- The Protec provider performance is constantly monitored. Consistent and outstanding performance is required for Protec providers to retain their Protec badge.
What are the requirements to become a Protec Badged provider?
- Protec badged providers must maintain a minimum provider rating of 5-Stars or greater on the Field Nation platform to retain their Protec badge.
- Protec badged providers must have a valid background check posted on the Field Nation platform within the past 5-years
- Protec badged providers must successfully complete the Protec-WorkSafe WorkSmart Policies and Procedures Course.
What topics are covered in the WorkSafe WorkSmart training program?
- “WorkSafe” addresses safe work practices at client sites. This safety course highlights:
- Site safety assessment
- Proper lifting and carrying
- Utilizing and maintaining Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ladder safety
- Electrical Awareness
- Safe work procedures
- “WorkSmart” addresses best practices at client sites. Best work practices include:
- Properly Checking In and Out at the client’s site
- Inquiring about and understanding client’s policies and procedures
- Handling and/or transporting client property, material or equipment
- Proper staging and housekeeping practices at the client’s site
- Data Security
- Disabling Critical Client Systems
