joining a group

Field Nation provides a platform for social, company and professional networks, with varying levels of privacy and access.

1.             Click  to access the Social Groups home page.

The Social Box opens to show a list of the different kinds of groups and the main screen section shows any groups you moderate. In this case, you are looking to join a group.

There are three different kinds of groups, Professional, Networking, and Company.

2.             Choose the kind of group you want to join   to display a list of those groups.

3.             Select the group you want to join to display the home page for that group.

4.             Click  to join the group.

NOTE:
Restricted and Private groups require special permissions to join.

5.             Click .

If the group has unrestricted access, you see a message saying you successfully joined the group. If the group has restricted access, you need to wait for the group moderator or owner to accept or invite you.
